SKIMS, the shapewear and clothing brand founded by billionaire businesswoman and television personality Kim Kardashian, opened its first permanent brand store in Georgetown, Washington D.C. in 2024. As the Architect of Record on the Project, KPA coordinated with the teams and contractor, as well as all supporting trades to maintain budgetary and timeline needs. The 2,900 SF location includes design elements reflective of the brand, with furnishings and fixtures to match it’s chic style. The custom millwork, lighting and furniture create a unique and inviting retail experience that makes customers feel at home and invites exploration.
