Inspired by Cristobal Balenciaga’s original salon in Paris and designed to evoke a sense of permanence, Balenciaga’s New York City flagship celebrates designer Alexander Wang’s vision for the house.
The SoHo location, comprising of an adjacent men’s and women’s flagship, is clad in deep green marble on the staircase, walls, and combined with limestone tiles for a patterned flooring. The boutique is designed to feel intimate, with the space narrowing towards the back and topped by a curving skylight.
