Located on 520 Boadway, Michael Kors’ three story flagship in SoHo is the largest in the world for the designer. The boutique combines accessories, a curated footwear salon, the women’s ready-to-wear collection, and for the first time ever, a floor dedicated entirely to menswear. To differentiate this retail landmark, the men’s floor is marked by separate design touches like grey marble fixtures, black leather wall panels, and very sleek furniture–much like that black leather pool table in the corner. In contrast, the rest of the flagship showcases a bright, modern interior with glass, metal, and white marble fixtures. Bold graphic prints such as the zebra print rug differentiate and accentuate the footwear salon.
As Project Architect, KPA has seamlessly implemented Michael Kors’ identity into over 250 open air centers and street locations throughout the United States and abroad.
