Designed to reflect the creativity, craftsmanship, and personalization at the heart of the Joybird brand, this 3,000-square-foot showroom in West Hollywood California transforms furniture shopping into an immersive design experience! KPA conceived and designed the showroom to serve as both a product showcase and inspirational destination. Allowing customers to engage with the brand’s custom furniture collections in a dynamic setting that feels welcoming and encourages exploration.

The showroom is open and inviting, with high ceilings, abundant natural light, thoughtfully integrated lush greenery, vibrant upholstery selections and bright pops of color that are balanced by a refined material palette of textured charcoal walls, dark metal accents, and natural wood finishes. The eye-catching biophilic walls featured throughout the store, are a defining aesthetic feature that serve as both artwork and subtle logo recognition elements. These installations add a unique identity to the showroom, enhancing the customer experience through a connection to nature without competing with the carefully curated furniture displays. 

To showcase the breadth of Joybird’s product offerings, the showroom is organized into twenty distinct lifestyle vignettes. Semi-transparent screens provide subtle separation between environments, creating intimate settings where customers can envision furniture within fully realized living spaces. This approach allows visitors to experience individual collections and design combinations while maintaining clear sightlines and an open, fluid circulation throughout the showroom. At the center of the customer journey is the innovative “Influencer Studio,” a flexible vignette designed to evolve over time. Conceived as a collaborative platform for designers, creators, and brand partners, the space can be continually reimagined with new furniture arrangements and styling concepts. This ever-changing feature encourages repeat visits, strengthens engagement with the brand, and provides customers with fresh inspiration during every showroom experience.

Supporting Joybird’s commitment to customization is the prominent textile library located at the front of the store. Here, shoppers can explore an extensive collection of fabric samples displayed within a custom hanging system that celebrates the richness and variety of the brand’s upholstery options. By bringing a traditionally trade-focused selection process into an accessible retail setting, the showroom empowers customers to participate in the creative process and confidently design pieces tailored to their individual lifestyles.
